Siam Warriors Collateral
Excited for this week fight show, Siam Warriors Collateral, this Saturday 23rd of May. We can't wait to watch our coach Amber Lennon doing her pro debut in Muay Thai C Class rules. Coming from an amazing fight for the ISKA Irish K-1 Amateur Title back in December, at Evolution Fights, where she got the victory. Now making her Muay Thai debut and in what way, straight into the pro irish scene, against an experience fighter, current Pro-Am WMO Light Flyweight champion. We are really proud to have Amber on our team, a true example of courage and hard work. Get in touch with anyone of the staff if you want to come to Cork and support her, or if it's too complicated to make the trip, you can always watch the streaming. Thanks for the support and thanks for believing in this project, let's keep growing together.

Siam Warriors Superfights "A Symphony of Action"
This last weekend our coaches Alonso Rivera & Juan Galaz had their participation in Siam Warriors fight show.
First with the performance of Alonso disputing the Silver Series Title, getting the win against a skilled opponent, Caleb Long, from Jai Sua. The fight went all the lenght, despite a knockdown taken by Caleb on the second round, after taking some serious hits from Alonsos hands, an accurate hook to the body dropped Caleb and got an eight count. The count was close to the end of the round so Caleb managed to escape from getting KO in that round and he was able to recover in his corner to come out for the last round. Despite escaping the KO, Alonso dominance during the whole fight and a 10 - 8 score in the second round, gave the unanimous decision to our fighter.
Later in the event Juan Galaz stepped into…

Tempo Training for Fighters
Tempo training for fighters refers to the deliberate manipulation of speed during workouts—either resistance or cardiovascular—with the specific aim of improving performance attributes directly applicable to combat sports.
Types and Applications in Fighter Training
1. Strength and Resistance Training
In weightlifting, tempo training involves controlling the speed of the eccentric (muscle-lengthening), isometric (pause), and concentric (muscle-shortening) phases of each rep.
For example, a tempo might be prescribed as 3-1-2-0: 3 seconds to lower the weight, 1-second pause at the bottom, 2 seconds to lift, and no pause at the top. This increases time under tension, improves technique, strengthens connective tissue, and helps break through strength plateaus.
Benefits for fighters: Greater muscular control, improved injury resilience, and the ability to address weak points (like explosive power from the bottom of a squat or bench).

Strength & Conditioning for Muay Thai
Hi team,
In the following file you will find the bases for a Strenght & Conditioning Program. This isn't a specific routine, it works more as a guide to build up your S&C routine that will add that extra to your Muay Thai training. Bear in mind that these program is focussed for a figther, and it contemplates a high intensity and volume training, so try to adjust this to your current fitness condition. Again, remember that this is just a guide and you will need to adjust depending on your goals and how you feel with the training volume. Always push your limits, but remember that this is a process and you must not rush to get to the goal.
