We are already into October, but it worth mentioning our achievements this September. Seeing more of our people getting involved in the fighting scene and witnessing their evolution as fighters.

South Dublin MT Interclub

We going to start with our participation on the South Dublin MT interclub, where two of our fighters got their amateur debut, both in exhibition matches, but showing their determination and heart in every round. The first to step in was Erick, facing an older and bigger opponent from our friends of Courage MT. As it happens in a first fight Erick came out a little bit hesitant in the first round, but he gained confidence minute by minute, going from less to more, putting a lot of pressure to his opponent and making him step back and rely on the clinch to avoid the striking exchange.

After Erick's fight, came "Jefazo's" fight, Diego schedule as well for an exhibition match. He displayed his characteristic pressure boxing, always walking forward and nonstop striking style. Finishing with a satisfying first ring experience.

Rumble Fighting Championship

Then the following week was the turn for "Pillo" and "Peso" to perform. For "Pillo" was his first time on the ring, being for him an exhibition match in which he displayed his boxing and hard pressure style. Never taking the foot from the pedal, he managed to put his opponent in trouble, but as I said before, this was agreed as an exhibition match. The last to step into the ring, was "Peso Pluma", being this his second amateur bout, winning his previous one on the Team Torres interclub. He faced an experienced opponent who manages to give him a count, but "Peso" didn't give up and put all his heart in the fight, giving it all till the end of his fight. At the end, we didn't get the win, but "Peso" came out with a good experience and more hunger for the next fight.

What’s coming?

Just to keep you up to date, this October will be as well, full of action. Having Diego "Jefazo" Guajardo, stepping back into the ring, in a great show "Siam Warriors", hosted in Cork, next Saturday 10th of October. After Siam Warriors, several of our new fighters from our girls’ team, led by our Amber Lennon, will have their first experience in an Interclub, exhibition matches. And to close the month Juan Galaz will perform on the 4oz striking format, at 8ight Strike promotion, at Sunderland, UK. So, keep us reading for more news and updates.

I would like to finish thanking all our community for the constant support and for always being there for us. We won't get tired of encouraging our people to push their limits and to set the goal of stepping one day into the ring.
